Xpeng Motors Unveils Updated P7 and New G7 with World's Most Powerful Car Chips
Xpeng Motors, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, unveiled the updated P7 sports sedan and the new G7 crossover at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The P7, launched at an initial price of RMB 219,800, has already seen over 70,000 orders.
The P7's launch was met with overwhelming enthusiasm, with over 10,000 customers converting their orders into reservations within just seven minutes. Both the P7 and G7 models come equipped with three Xpeng Turing computer chips, each operating at a staggering 2,200 trillion operations per second (TOPS). This cutting-edge technology enables Level 3 semi-autonomous driving capabilities in both vehicles. Notably, the P7's chips are the most powerful currently used in any automobile worldwide.
