Xiaomi unveils an improved version of its smart water tap, marking its second release this month. This new model showcases advancements over the initial model.
Xiaomi's Mijia Instant Hot Water Purifier 1200G: A Sleek and Smart Water Solution
Xiaomi, the Chinese tech giant, has recently unveiled a new product - the Mijia Instant Hot Water Purifier 1200G. This three-piece system, consisting of a smart tap and under-sink units, offers a unique blend of purification and instant hot water with adjustable temperatures.
The Mijia Instant Hot Water Purifier 1200G is currently only available in China and is priced at CNY 3,999 (around £400 or $555). For room temperature water, the flow rate is 3.18L/min, while for hot water, it delivers up to 1,000 ml/min, allowing a 150 ml cup to be filled in just nine seconds.
The smart faucet includes a built-in display showing the TDS value and current settings. Users can adjust the temperature directly on the tap, with the purifier delivering hot water immediately, up to 95°C.
The Mijia Instant Hot Water Purifier 1200G is an upgraded version of the Mijia Water Purifier S1 1200G, which gained attention due to its polished design and Zero Stale Water 3.0 technology.
While Xiaomi sells other kitchen smart devices in Europe, such as smart water dispensers, there is no confirmed European launch date for this specific purifier. However, there is still hope that Xiaomi might bring this product to Europe in the future, as the company has been gradually expanding its smart home products internationally.
The Mijia Instant Hot Water Purifier 1200G is compatible with HyperOS Connect, allowing users to check water quality, track usage, and adjust temperature and volume through the Xiaomi app.
