Verisk Appoints Saurabh Khemka as New President of Underwriting Solutions
Verisk has appointed Saurabh Khemka as the new President of Underwriting Solutions, effective immediately. Khemka, who has been with Verisk for over 12 years, is credited as the driving force behind the Core Lines Reimagine initiative. He expressed excitement about his expanded role and the opportunity to make a greater impact across the car insurance industry.
Khemka will oversee all of Verisk's Underwriting Solutions business in his new role. Lee Shavel, President and CEO of Verisk, praised Khemka's partnership with car insurance clients and his ability to innovate based on their needs. Khemka previously served as Co-President of Underwriting Solutions and President of Core Line Services.
Khemka's predecessor, Doug Caccese, will leave Verisk in January 2026. Caccese, an insurance industry veteran, has held several leadership roles at Verisk, including president of domestic P&C underwriting and progressive lines. He will serve as a strategic advisor until his departure to ensure a smooth transition. Shavel thanked Caccese for his contributions and wished him success in the future.
