TVS Motor Company, a leading player in the Indian automobile industry, has reported impressive results for the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year. The company's products have led in their respective categories in various surveys, including the J.D.Power IQS & APEAL surveys and J.D.Power Customer Service Satisfaction Survey.

The company's financial performance for Q1 is noteworthy. TVS Motor Company posted its highest Operating EBITDA of Rs. 1,263 Crores, a 32% growth from Rs. 960 Crores in the same quarter of 2024-25. The Profit After Tax (PAT) also grew by 35% to Rs. 779 Crores, up from Rs. 577 Crores in the same quarter of 2024-25.

In terms of sales, the company has seen significant growth across all its product categories. Scooter sales grew by 19% to 4.99 Lakh units, while three-wheeler sales surged by 46% to 0.45 Lakh units. Electric Scooter sales also showed a strong growth of 35% to 0.70 lakh units. Motorcycle sales grew by 21% to 6.21 Lakh units.

The strong sales growth continued in the second quarter, with the company reporting revenue of approximately ₹12,210 crore, showing a 12.5% year-on-year increase. The net profit also rose 33% to about ₹654 crore. Although exact Q2 unit sales projections for motorcycles, scooters, three-wheelers, and electric scooters are not yet available, the Q1 data provides a strong reference. Overall two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including exports, grew 17% year-on-year to 12.77 lakh units in Q1.

The operating EBITDA margin for TVS Motor Company improved by 100bps to 12.5% in the quarter ended June 2025, up from 11.5% in the same quarter of 2024. The company's revenue for the first quarter of 2025-26 was Rs. 10,081 Crores, a 20% increase from Rs. 8,376 Crores in the same quarter of 2024. TVS Motor Company's Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the first quarter of 2025-26 was Rs. 1,053 Crores, a 35% increase from Rs. 783 Crores in the same quarter of 2024-25.
