The Tesla Model Y Standard, seen uncovered on October 2, 2025, sports a revamped front end with split headlights and an 18-inch wheel design. It retains the rounded rear glass and features a split taillight setup. The vehicle also boasts a redesigned trunk lid and rear bumper, setting it apart from existing Tesla Model Y variants.

Tesla influencers were invited to Giga Texas on the same day, suggesting a possible early reveal of the Tesla Model Y Standard. The vehicle is expected to be the most affordable version of Tesla's best-selling SUV, with reports indicating a potential price tag of US$39,990 based on website code.
