Tesla Brings Weather Map Feature to Intel-Powered Cars

Tesla has rolled out a new update, 2024.44.25.3, expanding the weather map feature to its cars equipped with Intel Atom processors. This feature was previously exclusive to Tesla vehicles powered by AMD processors.

Tesla initially launched the weather map feature in 2023 for cars with AMD Ryzen processors. This was due to hardware compatibility and processing capabilities. With the latest update, Tesla has optimized and stabilized the software for Intel-processor vehicles, making the weather radar overview available to them as well.

The weather overlay in Intel-powered cars mirrors that in AMD-powered ones, offering a 3-hour forecast and real-time weather conditions.
