T-Mobile subscribers can now secure their complimentary MLB.tv access until March 31st.

Update (March 25, 5:30 p.m. ET): T-Mobile's offer of free MLB.tv access through the 2025 season is now live in the T-Life app. Subscribers of T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Home Internet, and Small Business plans can claim the promotion before the end of March.

Brace yourself, sports fanatics! This year, Major League Baseball players in Spring Training will test an automatic ball-strike (ABS) system, backed by none other than T-Mobile's state-of-the-art 5G network. That's right, millions of baseball fans will soon marvel at the revolutionary 5G technology helping umpires get those calls right.

For the first time, Major League Baseball will use T-Mobile's 5G network to power its ABS system. T-Mobile, the official wireless partner of MLB, has whipped up a private Advanced Network Solution (ANS) network to dish out the 5G juice. Hawk-Eye cameras set up by MLB will triangulate the strike zone, and T-Mobile's ANS network will transmit data to and from parts of the ABS system in a flash. This shindig kicks off today at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida.

But those ace corporate use cases, like this one and the self-driving car project in Jacksonville, Florida, aren't the only reasons T-Mobile's 5G network is a big deal. Nope, T-Mobile is also showering its customers with a more thrilling perk: free MLB.tv access for the 10th straight MLB season.

Here's the deal: T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Home Internet, and Small Business plans subscribers can redeem a season-long MLB.tv access in the T-Life app. Mark your calendars for late next month and be ready to snag this offer, as it'll only be available between March 25 and March 31. Usual pricing for an MLB.tv plan hovers around the $150 mark, so this is quite the steal.

Now, the MLB.tv subscription doesn't include every in-market game due to blackouts. You'll still need cable for that, but lucky for you, those pesky blackouts can easily be thwarted with the best VPN apps for Android[2].

T-Mobile says its MLB.tv deal is one of its most popular perks, with customers streaming an astounding 58 million hours of live baseball during the 2024 season[3]. Now, prepare to join the pack and claim your own slice of the action.
