Suzuki Hayabusa Price Surges ₹1.16 Lakh After GST Hike, Remains India's Top Superbike
Suzuki Motorcycle India has adjusted the prices of its flagship supermoto models, including the iconic Hayabusa, following the latest Goods and Services Tax (GST) revision for motorcycles over 350cc. Despite the increase, the Hayabusa continues to be India's top-selling superbike.
The GST rate for big-capacity motorcycles has been revised from 28% to 40%. Consequently, Suzuki has raised the price of the Hayabusa by ₹1.16 lakh. The new ex-showroom price stands at ₹18.06 lakh. Despite this significant price hike, Suzuki is confident that the Hayabusa will maintain its stronghold in India's big bike market.
The Hayabusa's enduring appeal and dedicated fanbase are expected to sustain demand. Known for its powerful 1,340cc inline-four engine and smooth performance, the Hayabusa has long been a symbol of aspiration among Indian bikers.
