Subaru Unveils Trezia Compact MPV in Geneva
Subaru is set to unveil its latest model, the Trezia, at the Geneva Motor Show. This compact MPV shares many similarities with the Toyota Verso S, as it is a product of a collaborative effort between the two automakers.
The Subaru Trezia, featuring a distinctive Subaru grill and revised badging, will hit the UK and European markets soon after its Geneva debut. While details about the initiation of its development remain unclear, the Trezia is already available in Japan with 1.3 and 1.5-litre petrol engines.
For the European market, Subaru will offer a 1.4-litre diesel engine instead of the 1.5-litre petrol. The Trezia comes standard with a CVT transmission, providing a smooth driving experience. In Japan, an optional 4WD system is available, enhancing the vehicle's versatility.
The Subaru Trezia, based on the Toyota Verso, is a result of a successful collaboration between the two brands. With a choice of 1.3 petrol or 1.4 diesel engine, the Trezia is poised to offer European customers a familiar yet distinct compact MPV experience.
