St. Johann's administration identifies potential spots for mobile tower installations
In a recent council meeting, Building Department Director Tim Bahnmüller announced that several mobile network operators, including T-Mobile and Mint Mobile, are seeking sites for new mobile masts in the town of St. Johann. The aim is to make the network denser and eradicate coverage gaps in the area.
One of the proposed sites is located between Upfingen and Sirchingen, where a new mast was recently erected to close a coverage gap. Other potential locations include municipal plots of land in Wurtingen along the L 380 and around the industrial area, as well as plots of land in Gächingen along the road towards Dottingen near the Birkenhof.
Bahnmüller also suggested predefining certain areas for potential mast sites to aid providers like T-Mobile and Mint Mobile in their planning. He expressed hope that this initiative would lead to an improvement in the residential area of Spitzbubenhauel.
Councilor Albrecht Münch discussed the potential opportunity to enhance mobile networks in St. Johann during the meeting. The council approved Bahnmüller's proposals without objections.
However, the search results do not contain information about which Mobile Network Operators, such as T-Mobile or Mint Mobile, are working with the city administration of St. Johann to install new mobile phone masts and close mobile network gaps. Further discussions regarding potential sites, such as the Gewannen Steinenlai or Haldenacker, are ongoing.
As the town of St. Johann continues its efforts to improve mobile network coverage with operators like T-Mobile and Mint Mobile, residents can look forward to a more connected future.
