Smaller-scale Android smartwatch on the horizon, offering relatively few sacrifices in features
Get Ready for the Sleeker, Lighter OnePlus Watch 3!
Let's talk about the upcoming OnePlus Watch 3 43mm, a smaller version of the popular Android smartwatch that's perfect for those who found the original model a bit too bulky. Here's what you need to know!
OnePlus has finally confirmed the launch of this svelte smartwatch, and despite shedding some size, it promises to maintain the same powerful features of the larger 47mm version.
The Biggest Issue Solved
The main complaint about the original OnePlus Watch 3 was its lack of a second size option, leaving those with smaller wrists without a suitable smartwatch. But guess what? OnePlus has heard our plea and is now offering a smaller variant!
This new model tips the scale at a dainty 37.8g, making it a much lighter option than the 47mm version (49.7g) and even some competitors like the Google Pixel Watch 3 (31g), 40mm Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 (28.8g), and 42mm Apple Watch 10 (29.3g-34.4g, depending on configuration).
Reduced Size, Same Power
To achieve this smaller frame, OnePlus has scaled down the screen size from 1.5 inches on the 47mm model to a still-legible 1.32 inches on the 43mm model. OnePlus insists that this downsize won't compromise on the functionality, promising a fully-featured smartwatch experience.
What about health and wellness features? Well, the 43mm watch still includes OnePlus' 'Mind & Body Evaluation' for a physical and psychological wellbeing overview, and a barometer for real-time mental state readings, among other features.
Curious about the release date, price, and availability? We'll find out more come July 8! In the meantime, we know it's set to launch alongside the OnePlus Buds 4 on the OnePlus website, so keep an eye out for it!
For those wanting a sleeker, lighter Android smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch 3 43mm is definitely worth keeping an eye on!
Despite the smaller size, the OnePlus Watch 3 43mm maintains the powerful features of its larger counterpart, making it an appealing choice for those who found the original model too bulky. This new version, at 37.8g, is lighter than the 47mm OnePlus Watch 3, as well as competitors like the Google Pixel Watch 3, 40mm Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, and 42mm Apple Watch 10, showcasing its lightweight advantage in gadget technology.
