Sahana Systems Bags Rs. 7.74 Crore Indian Navy Contract via GeM
Indian defence contractor Sahana Systems, through its subsidiary Softvan Limited, has secured a significant contract with the Indian Navy. The Rs. 7.74 crore deal was finalised via the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform.
The project involves the design, supply, and implementation of both RF (Radio Frequency) and Non-RF infrastructure. This upgrade aims to enhance the existing RF Measurement System, thereby bolstering defence communication and testing. The project is set to be completed by April 2026.
Sahana Systems, the parent company, offers a wide range of IT services including AI & ML development, app development, digital marketing, and cyber security. The company reported a substantial 156 percent year-on-year increase in revenue from operations and a 79 percent increase in net profit. Following the announcement of the defence contract, shares of Sahana Systems Limited surged nearly 4 percent.
The Rs. 7.74 crore contract, scheduled to commence after 7th October 2025, is a significant win for Sahana Systems. This deal not only contributes to the company's revenue growth but also underscores its commitment to supporting India's defence sector.
