Meanwhile, defence technology startup Unmannd secured USD 2 million for its drone systems.
RUGR, valued at USD 25 million post-money, plans to use the funds to bolster its technology infrastructure, make strategic investments, and strengthen working capital. This will support its mission to drive financial inclusion in India's rural economy through digital payments and banking solutions.
GaadiMech, which offers express car servicing and transparent pricing, will use its INR 1.5 crore funding to expand beyond Jaipur, improve product features, and standardise its service hubs. The company aims to transform the automotive service industry by combining online platforms with physical centres.
Unmannd, specialising in autonomous drone systems, has secured USD 2 million in a pre-seed round led by Speciale Invest and Accel. The funds will support the commercialisation of its Titan drone, further development of its Fury interceptor system, and expansion of its engineering team. Unmannd's drones have been qualified by the Indian defence forces and can detect and neutralise hostile drones up to 30 kilometres away.
RUGR, GaadiMech, and Unmannd have all secured significant funding to support their growth and innovation. RUGR's funding will drive rural financial inclusion, GaadiMech's will expand automotive services, and Unmannd's will advance drone technology and security capabilities.
