Ronald Ng assumes role of Global Chief Creative Officer at MRM Agency
Ronald Ng, the former leader of Isobar Netherlands, has joined MRM as its global chief creative officer. This move comes after Ng's significant contributions to Isobar's success at the 2019 Cannes Lions festival.
Under Ng's leadership, Isobar Netherlands won six silver Lions for Volkswagen's "Road Tales" at the prestigious festival. "Road Tales" is an innovative interactive audiobook for children that uses location-based data to tell stories, a project that showcased Isobar's creative prowess.
Ng's arrival at MRM marks a new chapter for the digital experience agency, which is part of the McCann Worldgroup network. MRM's spokesperson confirmed that Ng is not replacing anyone directly.
Prior to his tenure at Isobar, Ng served as global chief creative officer at Digitas. Before that, he was the chief creative officer at BBDO Singapore.
Ng's previous work at Isobar significantly contributed to the agency's success at the 2019 Cannes Lions festival, making it the most successful festival in Isobar's history. The 2019 Cannes Lions festival honoured Isobar Netherlands with six silver Lions for "Road Tales."
As he embarks on his new role at MRM, Ng will be based out of the New York office. His appointment is expected to bring fresh ideas and innovative strategies to MRM, further enhancing its position in the digital experience market.
