Rock River Arms Unveils LAR-22 Tactical Carbine: Reliable .22 LR at $805
Rock River Arms has introduced the LAR-22 511 tactical Carbine, a .22 LR semi-automatic rifle manufactured in the United States. This rifle, built on the LAR-15M receiver, offers a blend of customization and reliability at an MSRP of $805.
The LAR-22 511 tactical Carbine boasts a 16-inch chrome-moly steel barrel with a 1:16 twist rate and a birdcage-style flash hider. Testers praised the rifle's choice of furniture, including the adjustable NSP-2 CAR stock with sling mounts and the A2-pattern pistol grip, allowing for further customization.
The rifle features a two-stage trigger with a 4-lb., 3-oz. pull and standard AR-15 controls, excluding the forward-assist feature. During testing, the LAR-22 511 tactical Carbine fed, fired, and ejected ammunition without a single failure. It comes with an extruded aluminum handguard equipped with Picatinny rail and M-Lok slots, and a 25-round magazine.
