Revolutionizes Asset Monitoring: Introducing FLIR iXX-Series with Smart Thermal Imaging Technology
Flir, a Teledyne Technologies company, has unveiled the iXX-Series of next-generation app-enabled thermal cameras, designed to transform inspection tasks across various industries.
The iXX-Series cameras are built on Flir's new ACE platform, combining the power of apps with a high-performance digital camera tool. These cameras are well-suited for enterprise-level condition monitoring programs, offering features such as asset hierarchy, cloud-based data management, and team-wide collaboration.
One of the key advantages of the iXX-Series cameras is their ability to simplify inspections, standardize data, and scale effortlessly across teams and sites. They provide better asset health insight by enabling accurate assessment of asset condition, and enable early fault detection, reducing downtime.
The iXX-Series cameras offer 40 mK NETD thermal resolution and ±2°C (±3.6°F) accuracy, providing crystal-clear thermal images with up to 480 × 640 resolution. They also feature Flir-patented MSX enhancement for faster problem identification.
In addition to their high-performance capabilities, the iXX-Series cameras are designed for ease of use. They come with an onboarding app to ensure successful adoption for less experienced users. The integration of Flir Assetlink software speeds workflows and delivers critical insight.
The iXX-Series cameras are particularly beneficial in data center, utility, and industrial environments for electrical and mechanical inspections. They are also well-suited for building diagnostics and facility maintenance, including moisture detection, HVAC performance checks, and energy loss assessments.
The iXX-Series cameras support direct cloud integration via Wi-Fi or LTE (certain models only) for immediate uploading, organization, and sharing of data, as well as seamless reporting and analysis. This feature allows users to plan inspections, connect thermal images to asset data, and produce inspection reports with the goal of simplifying workflows, improving asset health, and reducing reporting time.
Moreover, the iXX series is directly integrated with Flir Assetlink browser-based software, which automatically connects Flir radiometric images to an asset hierarchy structure. This integration simplifies the process of organizing and analysing data, making it easier for maintenance workers of any skill level to undertake efficient and secure inspections through intuitive, app-guided workflows.
The new Flir iXX solves challenges in traditional thermal inspections such as complexity, inconsistency, and disconnection. With its user-friendly design and advanced features, the iXX-Series is poised to revolutionize the world of digital camera imaging inspections.
