Restaurant Guide "Ultima" Debuts in Uzbekistan
Tashkent Debuts as First International City to Introduce the Yandex Eda Restaurant Guide, Ultima Guide
Tashkent has broken new ground as the first city outside of Russia to launch the Ultima Guide by Yandex Eda. The announcement comes directly from service representatives on their official website.
Yandex Uzbekistan handpicked the top 20 restaurants in Tashkent's capital using advanced neural networks and voting from users and experts. A longlist of 140 restaurants was created first, with the neural network reviewing over 3,000 venues in the city based on more than 100 criteria. Subsequently, a vote was conducted among 4,500 Yandex Go users and 39 independent local experts, comprising restaurateurs, chefs, food critics, media personnel, and influencers.
The top 20 restaurants were chosen based on the highest number of votes. The list features establishments offering national, European, Mediterranean cuisines, scenic restaurants, and small cafes. Additional information on these restaurants can be found on the Ultima Guide's website and the Yandex Go app in Uzbekistan, under the "Food" section for easy navigation. The project representatives stated that the guide will undergo annual updates.
In Russia, the Ultima Guide is currently accessible in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and Krasnoyarsk. The guide is available in Russian, English, Chinese, and in Tashkent, an additional Uzbek translation was added.
