InfoComm 2025 Wrap-Up: A Pro AV Extravaganza
InfoComm 2025 has come and gone, leaving behind a whirlwind of ideas and innovations in the pro audiovisual (Pro AV) world.
The Show Must Go On
Amidst tariff uncertainty, end-users and newcomers still flocked to Orlando, setting a record for attendance representing 35% of verified attendees. With 817 exhibitors and a total of 30,998 verified attendees from 97 countries, the show was a bustling event that showcased the importance of the U.S.’s Pro AV showcase.
Convergence: The New Normal
Broadcast and Pro AV worlds continue to merge, and this year’s InfoComm was no exception. From the latest AVoIP and broadcast-quality cameras to AV solutions powering home systems, the convergence was abundant on the show floor.
AI: The Current Obsession
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has taken center stage in the Pro AV industry for well over a year, and InfoComm 2025 was no exception. While there were no new AI-enabled tools, the focus was on how and why they are being used. Panels debated the use of AI in the production process and its trustworthiness to get the job done.
A New Era for Pro AV
AI tools for productivity were also a significant focus of the event, with sessions on how to use them practically, as well as workshops on integrating AI into projects. The industry stressed that understanding and leveraging AI was no longer optional but necessary for staying competitive in the Pro AV world.
It's All About the Display
As always, immersive displays caught our eye with incredible LED or dvLED or even invisible screens. From shine-filled video walls to interactive displays, these setups are becoming a vital part of the Pro AV industry.
