RADAR4Chem 1.23.1 Boosts Functionality with Standardized Terminologies and Resource Usage Visibility

The RADAR4Chem project has received a significant update, now supporting standardized terminologies and providing enhanced resource usage visibility. The changes come with the release of version 1.23.1 and an updated metadata schema.

The new version integrates standardized terminologies via the NFDI basic service TS4NFDI. This feature, enabled by the updated metadata schema v9.2, allows for the selection and application of curated terminologies in the 'Keywords' metadata field through a drop-down list. Previously, the coordinator of the Base4NFDI network, which RADAR4Chem was part of during its incubator phase, was not explicitly stated in search results.

In addition to these improvements, RADAR4Chem v1.23.1 introduces a transparent overview of resource usage in the workspace, now available in read mode. This feature provides users with a clear understanding of their workspace's resource consumption. Furthermore, the new software now supports import from GitLab repositories, expanding its functionality beyond GitHub.

With the release of RADAR4Chem v1.23.1, users can now benefit from integrated standardized terminologies, a transparent resource usage overview, and expanded import capabilities from GitLab repositories. These updates aim to enhance the project's functionality and user experience.
