QuakeCon 2025 Offers $10K in Prizes, Custom PCs, and More
QuakeCon 2025, the annual gaming festival, is set to offer a treasure trove of prizes, with a total value of $10,000 for the Mod Contest alone. Attendees can look forward to winning custom PCs, high-end GPUs, and more.
The event, held in Texas from August 7th to 10th, will feature challenges by id Software and Bethesda Softworks. Participants can win a GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition GPU and a custom GeForce RTX-QuakeCon frisbee. The GeForce Garage will host the official Mod Contest, awarding winners with GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, gift cards, and a grand prize trip to NVIDIA's HQ for a Rig Spotlight video.
To win one of the three customized DOOM: The Dark Ages PCs, attendees must visit the GeForce booth and collect stamps from demo stations. The event will also offer chances to win game codes and a custom wrapped DOOM: The Dark Ages GeForce RTX 5090. The winners of the custom PCs will be contacted with details on how to claim their prizes, provided by ASUS, Falcon Northwest, and MAINGEAR. The festivities will conclude with a special stream of RTX Play featuring DOOM: The Dark Ages on August 9th from 6 to 8 PM PT.
