Rumors suggest potential delays in the production of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, possibly leading to a late release compared to other models in the series.

Potential delay of 3-4 weeks for iPhone 15 Pro Max, attributable to Apple's production dilemmas.

Apple has officially announced the date for the iPhone 15 event, dubbed 'Wonderlust', set to take place on September 12, 2023. However, production delays are looming over this anticipated series.

In contrast to earlier expectations, not all iPhone 15 models will be available simultaneously due to ongoing production issues at Apple. According to reports, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has been the last project to commence, suggesting a lower mass production value compared to other iPhone 15 variants. As a result, the iPhone 15 Pro Max may miss initial sales and face a delay of 3-4 weeks.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared insights regarding the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. Kuo highlighted challenges in the production process, particularly with the new titanium frame material Apple is using for the iPhone 15 Pro lineup. The material, known for its high processing difficulties, underwent multiple design changes during development, contributing to production delays.

Among the changes was the abandonment of the solid-state button project. Apple initially planned to replace the volume buttons and mute switch with a solid-state button, but production issues led to its termination during the development phase, causing further delays.

Preorders for the iPhone 15 models are expected to begin on September 15th. More updates are anticipated on September 12th when the event takes place. Stay tuned for further developments.

Some iPhone 15 models may experience production delays due to difficulties with the new titanium frame material, potentially causing the iPhone 15 Pro Max to face a 3-4 week delay from the initial sales. Despite these challenges, consumers can still preorder the iPhone 15 models starting on September 15th, offering an opportunity to secure gadgets like smartphones before their arrival.
