Porsche Teases 2026 Electric Cayenne SUV with 1,000 PS and UWB Digital Key
Porsche has revealed the first look into the interior of its upcoming electric Cayenne SUV, set to hit the market in 2026. Led by Michael Schätzle, the development team is incorporating innovative features like a digital key using UWB technology and a vast display landscape.
The electric Cayenne will boast several performance levels, with the top model delivering over 1,000 PS and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds. Its 113 kWh battery promises ranges up to 600 kilometers and supports fast charging at up to 400 kW direct current power.
The SUV's interior showcases a large display landscape, including a curved OLED panel, a 14-inch OLED instrument cluster, and an 87-inch augmented reality head-up display. Owners can customize digital surfaces using the new Themes app. Comfort features include electrically adjustable rear seats, surface heating for seats, armrests, and panels, and a panoramic glass roof with 'Sunshine Control'. Porsche offers numerous interior combinations and individualization options through Exclusive Manufaktur or special request programs.
The Porsche Digital Key, utilizing UWB technology, enables automatic locking and unlocking via smartphone or smartwatch.
