Singer's Stunning Singer Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe: An Epic Ride with a Price Tag to Match

Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe: An Improved Version of the Classic Singer Model

Get ready, Porsche enthusiasts! The California-based auto maestros at Singer Vehicle Design have crafted yet another masterpiece—the 911 Carrera Coupe. This bad boy is a restomod based on the Porsche 964, boasting a sleek, wide-body aesthetic reminiscent of the '80s Carrera models. But here's the kicker—Singer ain't making more than 100 of these beauties.

Since 2009, Singer has been the go-to spot for Porsche fanatics, delivering painstakingly restored and modernized classics. This time, they've taken an old Porsche 911 body (nearly 30 years under its belt) and solidified its structure before swapping out the original bodywork with a sexy, carbon fiber reinforced plastic replacement.

The wide wheel arches house 18-inch lightweight alloys with central locking, shod with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. To top it off, these babies come equipped with pop-up headlights—a nod to the classic 911s of yore.

The athletic version features a stationary rear wing.

Interior: Where Old Meets New

That's just the exterior. Inside, Singer continues to wow with a total overhaul of the cabin. They weave classic design cues with modern materials, making the space a sporty, functional fusion of past and present.

Under the hood, Singer teams up with Cosworth to create a 4.0-liter, naturally aspirated engine. This bad boy churns out 420 horsepower, and it's mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Rev it up to 8,000 rpm, and a titanium exhaust system ensures a sweet symphony of sound.

Inside boasts a sporty atmosphere too.

Modern Comfort Meets Classic Race Vibes

The suspension also sees an overhaul with electronically controlled dampers boasting four adjustment modes, a nose lift system for navigating city sidewalks, and carbon ceramic brakes. Alpha-star Bosch provides the ABS, traction control, and ESP.

So, just how much does this piece of auto genius set you back? Singer keeps mum on specific pricing, as each build is meticulously crafted to meet the customer's unique specifications. Previous projects have ranged from around €440,000 to a whopping €1.8 million.

But don't despair, only 100 of these babies are up for grabs, so you'll certainly be among the lucky few!
