Polish B2B marketplace sun.store has secured €6 million in seed funding, aiming to revolutionise solar and storage equipment procurement across Europe. The platform addresses manual, inefficient processes and has already facilitated significant transactions.
sun.store has raised funds from Contrarian Ventures, Market One Capital, Movens Capital, and other investors. The company plans to use this Series A financing round for new product features, team expansion, and strategic sourcing. Currently, the platform enables structured product listings, dynamic pricing, integrated logistics, and flexible payments, streamlining solar procurement.
With 1,000+ monthly transactions and an average order value of €8,000, sun.store has made a strong impact. It serves a wide range of customers, including installers, distributors, wholesalers, and EPC firms across Europe. To date, the platform has facilitated 1.4 GW of PV component transactions and has 35,000 registered users. It boasts 500+ active sellers with €1.5B worth of components listed.
