Paul Horn to Showcase Latest Innovations at EMO Hannover
Paul Horn, a leading CNC tool manufacturer, is set to make a significant impact at the upcoming EMO exhibition in Holland. Markus Horn, the company's managing director, will be presenting a series of machining demonstrations that showcase the company's latest innovations in high surface finish, lead-free materials, aluminium machining, and complex component production.
At the event, Paul Horn will unveil the Mini system, featuring a sintered chip breaker geometry specifically designed for materials with poor chip formation properties. This new tooling system promises improved performance and efficiency in challenging machining conditions.
The demonstrations will take place on four state-of-the-art machine tools. Two lathes, the Index G220 and Citizen L12, will be used to showcase the company's capabilities in turning operations. Meanwhile, the DMG Mori DMU65 monoBLOCK and Grob G150, both 5-axis machining centres, will demonstrate the company's expertise in complex milling operations.
Paul Horn's I-geometry tool system will also be on display. This system is renowned for its superior chip control and extended tool life, particularly in shallow depth steel and stainless steel machining. The company's commitment to innovation is further evident in its offer of inserts with small corner radii, ranging from 0.05mm to 0.2mm. These inserts are designed to facilitate small lateral infeeds when machining lead-free materials.
