Breaking new ground, NSUS Group, the GGPoker masterminds, have extended their live poker reach by acquiring a significant portion of High Stakes Poker Productions, the powerhouse behind the popular poker live stream, .

In a statement on Wednesday, NSUS announced that the stake they acquired was previously owned by former High Stakes Poker Productions co-owner Nick Vertucci.

"SShaking things up for High Stakes Poker Productions is an exhilarating turn of events," said Ryan Feldman, High Stakes Poker Productions' co-owner. "With NSUS on board, we're heading towards uncharted territories and all set to push the boundaries of live-stream poker content for our avid fans worldwide."

According to Feldman, NSUS and GGPoker will maintain a hands-off approach to , allowing him to keep the creative reigns.

has built a reputation for showcasing top poker pros, colorful characters, and celebrities, drawing the attention of poker enthusiasts. With GGPoker's involvement, there's a strong likelihood that more poker bigwigs will grace the show's tables.

Poker Hall of Famer and GGPoker Ambassador, Daniel Negreanu, expressed his excitement in the press release, "I pride myself on stepping away from high-stakes poker streams, but this will lure me back to the felt and engage in the most thrilling cash game poker stream ever. I'm raring to go!"

Vertucci's Exit

An opening arose for someone to buy Vertucci's stake in High Stakes Poker Productions after his dismissal from the company in October due to multiple sexual harassment allegations.

The catalyst was "Julia from Palmdale," a player who shared her accusations against Vertucci on social media. Veronica Brill, Vertucci's co-host on the podcast, followed with her own credible accusations, presenting text message exchanges as evidence.

Julia also shared screenshots of text conversations with Vertucci, revealing an instance where he repeatedly commented on her appearance while discussing her potential participation on the stream that evening.

Feldman stated that once Vertucci was removed from the daily operations of the show, it was only a matter of time before he sold his shares in the company.

"Ultimately, Nick managed to strike a deal with the ideal buyer," Feldman stated. "It was also beneficial for our company and me personally. I was overjoyed to learn that NSUS Group, Inc. would be the company purchasing his shares once everything was settled."
