New York Public Radio Enhances Content Delivery with CloudJuncxion's Seeker Solution

New York Public Radio (NYPR), home to WNYC(FM/AM), WQXR(FM), the Gothamist, and The Greene Space, has turned to CloudJuncxion's Seeker solution to boost its content-distribution network. This innovative approach virtualizes and optimizes bandwidth across diverse transport links, ensuring reliable content delivery even in challenging transmission environments.

The US Department of Defense is among the users of Seeker, a testament to its effectiveness in handling latency-sensitive content distribution. For NYPR, this solution was a perfect fit, as it required a network infrastructure that could maintain scalability, manageability, and the ability to handle latency-sensitive content.

Seeker's bandwidth virtualization technology meets these demands by aggregating multiple transport types simultaneously. This approach prevents disruptions caused by single-link failures or congestion, ensuring that NYPR's content reaches audiences effectively regardless of operational location or network conditions.

Steve Shultis, NYPR’s CTO, emphasized that adopting Seeker reflects the organization's commitment to adapting and maintaining continuous content delivery "no matter where or how we work." This robust, scalable, and agile network architecture supports NYPR's mission in delivering content to its listeners, no matter the circumstances.

CloudJuncxion, a provider of enterprise network solutions including SD-WAN, built Seeker on its bandwidth virtualization technology. By leveraging various transport link types, such as LEO/MEO/GEO satellites, fiber, LTE/5G, MANET, point-to-point radio, and commercial ISPs, Seeker maximizes bandwidth availability and network resilience. This ensures NYPR's content continues to reach its audience, no matter the challenges of the transmission environment.
