Nvidia's Leading Executive, Jensen Huang, continuous learning through AI, claims: "I maintain academic knowledge on par with a doctoral candidate."
In a lively panel discussion at the 28th annual Milken Institute Global Conference, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang spoke about AI being the game-changer in bridging the technological divide.
Huang, who's no stranger to the tech world, building the sticks powering AI, also revealed his personal use of AI as a daily tutor. He plays the role of a 12-year-old student, asking AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini Pro, and Perplexity to explain complex concepts in simple terms, then ramping up the difficulty to PhD level.
Huang believes the future of education could be an equalizing force, thanks to the accessibility of AI. AI, he said, could help even those unfamiliar with specialized languages like C++, to understand and use AI.
AI: Tonight's Homework, Tomorrow's Career
Huang insists that today's education landscape should incorporate AI. Ignoring AI, he warns, could lead to professional stagnation.
The revolution in AI won't just disrupt industries, it will also transform every workplace. While some jobs might disappear, others will be born. But one thing's certain - everything will change.
"You won't lose your job to AI," Huang said, "You'll lose your job to someone who uses AI."
Huang has long been an advocate for using AI and automation in the workplace. He envisions Nvidia as a company teeming with 100 million AI assistants.
Going further, Huang emphasized the need for more energy generation to support AI development, stressing AI's integral role in industrial growth.
The Power of AI: Nvidia's March
Nvidia makes some of the highest-demand chips for AI models. In June, the company climbed to a market capitalization of $3 billion (€2.66 billion) during the AI boom. Since then, the company's value has dropped slightly back to $2.8 billion (€2.4 billion).
Huang's vision of AI-assisted learning and workplaces is fueling his decisions as a leader, and his passion is evident. Despite the current challenges, it's clear that AI, for Huang, is more than just another technology trend - it's the future.
