Knee-Deep in Collaboration: Palworld and Terraria Team Up

The legal tussle with Nintendo hasn't stopped Palworld from brewing fresh content! This summer, the survival game that's anything but a copy-cat will be teaming up with the eternally popular crafting game, Terraria, in its Tides of Terraria update.

While the details are scanty from Pocketpair's latest announcement, you can expect to "catch, train, fight, and work with Terraria's monsters just like Pals." That's right, those cute little slimes from Terraria are set to roll up their sleeves and get to work on your Palworld base!

Though I didn't dive too deep into Terraria, I couldn't help but chuckle at the idea of a pixelated pal helping out with mining ore. Frankly, I didn't get to explore much beyond those slimes and a couple of other creatures, like the shark, and well, something that looked like two angry orange circles. I'm hoping they'll keep that Terraria charm - pixelated and cute!

Re-Logic, the mastermind behind Terraria, hasn't spilled the beans yet, but a teaser from November hinted at a possible incorporation of Palworld elements in Terraria's own update. A little minion summoner for Terraria? Pals would fit right in!

The Tides of Terraria update will also unveil new Pals and islands, as announced in the 2025 roadmap for Palworld. Despite the lawsuit tumult, it seems Palworld is sticking to its regular updates. Case in point, earlier this month, Pocketpair removed the ability to use Pals as gliders - another compromise in response to Nintendo's ongoing lawsuit.

More details about the Tides of Terraria update will be unveiled on the Palworld social media channels over the next few weeks. Until then, give your inner creature collector a chance - Palworld is 25% off on Steam for the Creature Collector Fest sale until May 19, perfect for getting ready for the big update!
