NFT Creation and Trading Tools Introduced on Sei Blockchain by Magic Eden Expansion
Magic Eden, the leading NFT marketplace by transaction volume, has announced its expansion to Sei Blockchain, marking the 11th blockchain in its rapidly growing ecosystem. This move further solidifies Magic Eden's position as a unified platform for NFT trading, discovery, and token management across a diverse set of blockchain networks.
Sei Blockchain, known for its fast transaction processing speeds comparable to Web2 platforms, will join the existing list of 12 blockchains supported by Magic Eden, including Solana, Ethereum, and Bitcoin. The Sei Blockchain integration will be available on Magic Eden's desktop and mobile wallet, making the ME token, developed by the ME Foundation, accessible to users.
The expansion to Sei Blockchain comes after Magic Eden's collaboration with Aethir in April to create a unified Web3 gaming ecosystem. In October, Magic Eden added support for BeraChain and ApeChain, making them the 8th and 9th networks in its expanding ecosystem.
Magic Eden's multi-chain capabilities were first introduced in July, allowing users to manage NFTs and tokens across multiple blockchains. This feature is now available on Ethereum, Polygon, Bitcoin, and other supported blockchains.
The expansion to Sei Blockchain will launch with an NFT launchpad, a mint terminal, and a marketplace. This move is expected to boost Magic Eden's growth and user base, as it continues to expand its footprint in the rapidly evolving NFT market.
In August, Magic Eden announced the adoption of the ME token to facilitate cross-chain NFT trading. The ME token will now be accessible through Magic Eden's wallet on Sei Blockchain, further enhancing the platform's interoperability.
