NFL legend Tom Brady to launch NFT series showcasing his early football career highlights
In a recent development, NFL superstar Tom Brady has announced the launch of his latest NFT collection titled "Live Forever: The Tom Brady Origins Collection." The collection, which is a joint venture with crypto exchange FTX, will be available on the DraftKings marketplace.
Brady, along with his wife Gisele Bundchen, has partnered with FTX in a long-term deal for this project. The collection comprises 16,600 collectibles that highlight Brady's early days in the NFL.
The "Live Forever: The Tom Brady Origins Collection" NFT drop event is scheduled to begin on December 7, 2021, at 5 PM ET. Collectors with Preseason Access Passes, given to collectors of Brady's first NFT collection launch, will have prioritized access to the collection.
The public drop for the collection will be open from December 9. The Preseason pass holders can purchase a mystery container on DraftKings, which may contain items like Brady's College Resume, Combine Stopwatch, Rookie Draft Card, Combine Jersey, or Combine Cleats.
The new NFT series will be available in five types of rarity: Carbon, Platinum, Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby. By the "Activation Deadline," an individual who gathers five items of the same rarity will earn an Immortal Statue of that rarity.
In a light-hearted moment, Brady joked about his concern that the NFT market was becoming oversaturated, saying his main concern was making sure his collection sold out faster than Gronk's.
The mystery boxes can be unlocked from December 14, 2021, onwards. So, get ready, football fans and NFT enthusiasts, as we gear up for the launch of "Live Forever: The Tom Brady Origins Collection" on the DraftKings marketplace.
