Nektar unveils MIDI-extending Mk3 editions of its Impact LX line of MIDI controller keyboards, the Impact LX+ series.
Nektar, a leading manufacturer of MIDI controllers and keyboards, has announced the launch of its updated Impact LX range. The new Impact LX Mk3 line-up includes four models: the 25-key LX25, the 49-key LX49, the 61-key LX61, and the 88-key LX88.
The Impact LX Mk3 range offers redesigned hardware, enhanced DAW integration, and Native Instruments NKS support. All models are competitively priced, with the LX25 priced at $129.99 / €109,99 / £ 94.49, the LX49 at $199.99 / €179,99 / £154.99, the LX61 at $229.99 / €199,99 / £172.99, and the LX88 at $339.99 / €299,99 / £259.99.
One of the key features of the Impact LX Mk3 range is the addition of a Global Control encoder, which integrates with compatible DAWs to offer control over channel volume, cutoff, and other parameters. The encoder offers 10-bit resolution, providing a broader range of control than standard MIDI.
All models in the Impact LX Mk3 range offer advanced and comprehensive DAW integration capabilities. They include Nektar's custom DAW integration with major DAWs such as Ableton Live Suite, Cubase, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Studio One, and others, offering features like Scale, Chord, and Hold modes. Additionally, all versions support Native Instruments' NKS control standard, ensuring compatibility with thousands of plugins even in DAWs without native Nektar integration.
The models come equipped with the same controls for performance and workflow: 9 full-resolution encoders, 8 faders, 8 velocity-sensitive pads, LED buttons, and deep parameter feedback facilitating precise control over DAW and plugins.
The 25-, 49-, and 61-key models feature a lighter synth-style action keybed, designed for quicker playing and portability. In contrast, the 88-key model features a semi-weighted keybed based on Nektar's GXP88, offering a heavier, more piano-like feel suitable for expressive playing.
The Impact LX Mk3 range will be available from August 1st. For more information, potential buyers can visit Nektar's website or check the provided link for the product's prices.
In a special offer, Nektar and Bitwig are giving away a complete copy of Bitwig Studio Essentials to the first 500 registered users of the Impact LX Mk3. This offer adds significant value to an already attractive range of MIDI controllers.
