Morgan's Warriors: Honouring Memory, Supporting Winnipeg's Vulnerable

Elle Harris and Melissa Robinson, cousin of Morgan Wallen, have established 'Morgan's Warriors', an outreach group honouring Morgan's memory. Morgan was one of four Indigenous women tragically murdered in 2022 by a serial killer targeting vulnerable women. The group, founded in 2003, supports vulnerable Winnipeggers three nights a week, providing essential aid and emotional support.

Morgan's Warriors, initially founded by American filmmaker Morgan Spurlock during the production of 'The Real Cancun', has evolved into a vital community resource. The non-profit organisation offers food, water, clothing, and administers Narcan to help those overdosing. They also assist in locating missing loved ones and provide emotional support.

The group operates three nights a week, driven by volunteers who have been personally affected by the MMIWG2S crisis. They find healing and purpose through community support, ensuring no one is left without help. Currently, the group is in urgent need of donations, particularly winter clothing items.

Morgan's Warriors, founded in honour of Morgan Wallen, continues her legacy by supporting vulnerable Winnipeggers. They provide immediate aid and emotional support, making a tangible difference in the community. The group is currently seeking donations, especially winter clothing items, to continue their vital work.
