Microsoft partners with Dr. Al-Huwailah to advance digital family services
The Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, under the leadership of Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, the Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs and Chairperson of the Council, is set to launch a new digital platform. This innovative website, developed in collaboration with Microsoft, aims to deliver integrated services through an advanced, user-friendly digital environment [1].
The focus areas for the enhancement of digital services include psychological and social counseling, and protection from domestic violence. The Council is modernizing its work systems in accordance with local legislation and international agreements to ensure the platform's readiness [2].
The Supreme Council for Family Affairs is committed to enhancing its digital services as part of its broader goals, which include nurturing and empowering families, women, and children in Sharjah. This council supports humanitarian, developmental, and community initiatives while focusing on child safety, psychological stability, and social protection [2].
Although the exact launch date of the new website is yet to be announced, as reported by Al-Rai daily, it is clear that the platform will play a significant role in the Council's mission to improve family, child, and women’s welfare through digital means.
