mea Platform Names Rachel Watts as New COO
mea Platform has appointed Rachel Watts as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO). Watts brings over two decades of experience in client implementation within the re/insurance and financial services sectors. She has held senior roles at prominent companies such as Markel, Pacific Life Re, and AXA XL.
Watts' extensive background includes serving as Vice President of Global Operations and Head of Actuarial Systems at Pacific Life Re. In this role, she led transformation initiatives across multiple globes, demonstrating her operational expertise and strong leadership qualities.
Prior to this, Watts was a senior figure at Markel, shaping IT operations strategy and directing global technology teams and client delivery. She also held the position of Global Head of Service Management at XL Catlin and continued in this role at AXA XL. Here, she was responsible for global IT operations, service design, business continuity, and stakeholder engagement.
mea Platform's CEO, Martin Henley, expects Watts' operational expertise and strong leadership qualities to help surpass execution expectations. This will allow more clients to benefit from mea's AI products, as Watts aims to help clients gain measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.
