Luxury watchmaker A Lange and Söhne introduces two exquisite timepieces in honor of the Concours of Elegance.
The Concours of Elegance, a celebration of the finer things in life, took place at Hampton Court Palace in 2025. This prestigious event showcased some of the rarest cars in the world, and this year, it was sponsored by A. Lange & Söhne.
The main sponsor, A. Lange & Söhne, unveiled two beautiful new watches to mark the occasion. One of these was the A Lange and Soehne 1815 Tourbillon, featuring a jet black grand feu enamel dial. The other was the Richard Lange Jumping Seconds watch, a new design from the renowned watchmaker.
The A Lange and Soehne 1815 Tourbillon, crafted from platinum, has a thickness of 11.3mm and a tourbillon located at the six o'clock position on the dial. Only 50 examples of this watch will be created, each with an engraved number on the case back.
In contrast, the Richard Lange Jumping Seconds watch is housed in a 39.9mm case with a thickness of 10.6mm. This watch features a pink gold dial contrasting with a white gold case. The Richard Lange Jumping Seconds watch is limited to 100 pieces, each with an engraved number on the case back.
What sets the Richard Lange Jumping Seconds watch apart is its unique movement that enables the seconds hand to move once every second. This is unlike the A Lange and Soehne 1815 Tourbillon and the Richard Lange Jumping Seconds watch, which are not part of each other's collections.
The Richard Lange Jumping Seconds watch, however, is not a part of the Concours of Elegance celebration. It was unveiled separately by A. Lange & Söhne as a new model.
The Concours of Elegance, with its display of rare cars, provided a fitting backdrop for the unveiling of these two stunning watches. Attendees were treated to a glimpse of the finer things in both the automotive and horological worlds.
