Lisk, a blockchain software company, has launched the Lisk empower Fund, a $15 million venture initiative aimed at backing Web3 startups in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. The fund integrates incubation, assessment, and growth capital through a scalable pipeline, providing more than just financial support to selected companies.
Lisk believes emerging markets offer significant growth opportunities and have consistently outperformed public benchmarks. The Lisk empower Fund aims to support startups solving real-world problems in these markets, where adoption is organic and purpose-driven. Four early recipients of the fund are Lov.cash, Afrikabal, IDRX, and SigraFi.
The fund provides selected companies with $250,000 in capital alongside strategic support from Lisk. This includes hands-on advisory, Web3 experience, and resources to founders. Lisk gains early access to pre-vetted deal flow through strategic partnerships with leading local incubators. The Lisk Empower Fund has already supported early recipients including companies like Lightcurve and Lisk Foundation, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing the Lisk ecosystem.
The Lisk Empower Fund is set to foster innovation and growth in the Web3 space within emerging markets.
