The conference, 'The Future of Justice in the Digital Age: From the Courtroom to the Cloud', aims to explore the latest global developments in electronic justice and digital arbitration, aligning with Kuwait's broader digital transformation strategy and commitment to modernizing the justice sector.
Organized in cooperation with the French Embassy and the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the event seeks to prepare Kuwait's legal and legislative environment for rapid technological transformations. Khaled Al-Suwaifan, Secretary of the Kuwait Lawyers Association, announced the conference, which supports the association's 'Lawyer 2025' vision and the 'Paperless Justice' initiative.
The conference will delve into topics such as the future of e-judiciary, cloud-based arbitration, the role of AI in case management, and the impact of technology on international legal cooperation. International experts attending include representatives from the ICC, senior lawyers and professors from Kuwait University, Université Paris, and Lebanese University, as well as legal innovation officers and embassy officials from France. The Kuwait Bar Association collaborates internationally with the ICC and the French Embassy in Kuwait to facilitate the transfer of advanced legal expertise from France to Kuwait.
