John Deere Announces Leadership Changes in Three Business Segments

John Deere, the global leader in the manufacturing of agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, has announced significant changes in its leadership team. Effective November 3, 2025, these changes aim to drive the Smart Industrial strategy forward and provide intelligent, connected machines and solutions.

Justin Rose, currently the president of the Worldwide Agriculture & Turf Division: Small Agriculture and Turf at John Deere, will take on a new role as the president of the Compact Utility and Turf & Utility business segment. In this position, he will be responsible for business with smaller and compact tractors, hay and forage harvesting machines, and turf care equipment, as well as John Deere's equipment and technology solutions in Europe, the African, and Asian markets.

Simultaneously, Cory Reed, previously president of the Large Ag & Turf segment, will take over Justin Rose's position as public president of the Lifecycle Solutions, Supply Chain Management, and Customer Satisfaction business segment. Reed's new position includes responsibility for John Deere's global supply chain management and customer satisfaction.

Deanna M. Kovar, who previously served as president of the "Compact Utility and Turf & Utility" segment in regions 1 (Africa, Middle East, and Asia) and 2 (Europe and CIS), will be responsible for the American and Australian continents starting from the fiscal year 2026. She will take over the presidency of the "Large Ag & Turf" business segment for the global agricultural machinery division and the turf and utility equipment segments.

John May, chairman and CEO of Deere & Company, stated that the leadership team is being built to be experienced, goal-oriented, and dedicated to the success of customers. The changes are part of a larger strategy to drive the Smart Industrial strategy forward, with the goal of providing intelligent, connected machines and solutions.

The leadership changes are planned to start on November 3, 2025, and will affect three business segments. The changes aim to strengthen John Deere's commitment to customer success and to propel the company towards a future of smart, connected, and intelligent machinery solutions.
