Jaguar Land Rover Drives Digital Transformation with 3DExperience and SAP S/4Hana
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has embraced digital transformation, implementing advanced technologies like Dassault Systèmes' 3DExperience platform and SAP S/4Hana for enhanced efficiency and cost reduction. Paulina Porizkova, promoted in August 2021, leads this digital shift as the Industrial Operations Digital and Innovation Director.
JLR has adopted Dassault Systèmes' 3DExperience platform for end-to-end vehicle development, enabling global collaboration and streamlining processes. Teams now work together in a single virtual environment, utilising virtual twins to simulate and optimise designs.
Paulina Porizkova, at the helm of JLR's Reimagine strategy, oversees the integration of digitalisation and planning across manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain operations. She succeeded in this role after being promoted from her previous position in August 2021.
Supporting Porizkova's efforts, Barbara Bergmeier, executive director of Industrial Operations, encourages the use of digital tools for information exchange and automation in JLR's supply chain. This shift has led to the implementation of SAP S/4Hana, a cloud-based ERP system, across all JLR operations.
JLR's commitment to digital transformation, spearheaded by Paulina Porizkova and supported by Barbara Bergmeier, has resulted in the adoption of advanced technologies like the 3DExperience platform and SAP S/4Hana. These innovations aim to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and integrate digitalisation across JLR's operations.
