Ingersoll Rand Expands in India, Opens Sanand Plant for Energy-Efficient Solutions

Ingersoll Rand is expanding its commitment to India with a new plant in Sanand, aiming to reduce energy costs and carbon footprints through innovative solutions. The company reported a 11% revenue growth in FY 2024-25, reaching INR 1336 crores.

The new plant will manufacture Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) add-ons, which enhance energy efficiency and reliability, even during power fluctuations. This aligns with Ingersoll Rand's goal to provide smarter, more resilient, and cost-effective industrial solutions in India's growing economy, as stated by Sunil Khanduja, Managing Director of Ingersoll Rand India.

Ingersoll Rand's product portfolio is designed to perform in high temperature conditions and cope with fluctuating grids, delivering value in cost-sensitive settings. The company's Ecoplant ensures higher energy efficiency, while Airend upgrades and retrofits boost machine performance without full unit replacement. Additionally, the CARE Service offers maintenance and predictive monitoring to maximize uptime.

With the upcoming Sanand plant, Ingersoll Rand strengthens its Make in India commitment, contributing to the country's industrial landscape with innovative, energy-efficient solutions. The company's diverse product portfolio and services, along with its growing revenue, reflect its dedication to India's growing economy.
