Henkel Adhesive Technologies has launched Bonderite C-AK DW 805 AERO, a revolutionary aircraft cleaner designed for sustainability and efficiency. This water-saving product is set to minimise aircraft downtime and reduce environmental impact.
The new cleaner, a ready-to-use emulsion, can be applied by spraying or damp mopping onto any aircraft surface. It clings to vertical surfaces and activates by mopping, wiping off easily with a clean, damp microfiber cloth just seconds after application.
Bonderite C-AK DW 805 AERO is safe for use on various surfaces including metals, paints, glass, plexiglass, acrylic, and polycarbonate. It effectively removes dirt and oils, protecting surfaces in seconds and eliminating the need for water rinsing and wastewater treatment. The cleaner is non-flammable, with a high flash point (>94°C), and delivers reliable performance over a wide range of temperatures and humidity levels, from +5°C to 45°C. Henkel has developed this product specifically for aerospace manufacturers and suppliers, contributing to their sustainability goals.
