H2O Innovation Acquires Lama Sistemas for Global Desalination Lead
H2O Innovation has acquired Llama Sistemas de Filtrados S.L. Unipersonal, a Spanish company specializing in backwashable filters for suspended solids removal. All 40 Llama employees will continue with the company, marking H2O Innovation's 20th acquisition in 25 years.
Founded in 1995, Llama brings its expertise in manual to fully automatic filtration systems to H2O Innovation. Serving municipal, industrial, and agricultural markets, Llama's products will complement H2O Innovation's Piedmont® brand, adding filtration solutions applicable to ultrafiltration. This acquisition strengthens H2O Innovation's leadership in the global desalination supply chain, broadening its pretreatment options for OEMs and engineering firms.
