GPS Tracking Device Unveiled by RoGO Communications for Wildland Firefighters

In the heart of the Western United States, wildfires pose a constant threat to lives and properties. To combat this, technology company RoGO Communications has launched a groundbreaking product: DropBlocks 2.0. This innovative device is designed to enhance situational awareness, safety, and resource allocation for wildland firefighters and first responders.

DropBlocks 2.0 is a satellite-enabled device, ensuring connectivity in remote areas where traditional communication networks may be unavailable. This feature is crucial for wildland firefighters working in areas with limited or no cellular coverage.

The device enables the real-time transmission of critical data, such as weather updates, fire spread predictions, and emergency alerts. RoGO Communications, founded by Rod Goossen and his brother Derek, who have experience fighting over 100 wildfires, aim to save the lives of wildland firefighters with their technology.

In addition to supporting wildfire response, RoGO services also aid first responders in other disasters, including hurricanes, floods, and search and rescue teams. The future of disaster response looks brighter with innovations like DropBlocks 2.0.
