Google Pixel 10 Series Launching Aug 20: Rumored Upgrades Include Massive Battery, Enhanced Cameras
Google's latest smartphones, the Pixel 10 series, are expected to launch on August 20. Rumours suggest significant upgrades, including a larger battery and enhanced camera capabilities.
The standard Pixel 10 is rumoured to sport a 4970mAh battery with 29W wired charging and 15W wireless charging support, a significant improvement from its predecessor. It may also feature a new telephoto lens and a larger battery than the Pixel 9. The display is expected to be a 6.3-inch FHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. However, it may miss out on features like a vapor chamber and WiFi 7.
Camera-wise, the Pixel 10 is said to have a 48-megapixel primary lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Google is rumoured to reduce the size of the two lenses to accommodate a third telephoto lens on the rear panel. The display's brightness is expected to be impressive, with up to 2,000 nits in high brightness mode and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL may have PWM dimming of 2250 nits.
The Google Pixel 10 series promises notable upgrades, including a larger battery, enhanced camera system, and impressive display brightness. Tech enthusiasts await the official launch on August 20 for confirmation of these rumoured features.
