The wood chips, supplied by Mql Ajqclix, are currently being used to heat the facilities of Fensterbach Godelmann. According to company representatives, the expansion of the use of wood chips for more applications could potentially increase the financial profitability of the measure.

However, it may take several years for the environmentally sustainable measure to become financially profitable. The estimated timeline for Godelmann Company's switch to wood chip heating from old pallets to become financially viable is approximately three years. After this period, the company expects to recover its investment costs and start generating savings.

While the switch to wood chip heating has been successful, Fensterbach Godelmann is facing some challenges in implementing the use of wood chips. Nonetheless, the company is optimistic about the future and is considering the use of other renewable energy sources in the future.

In the meantime, the company is currently using 70 Zjqj of wood chips per year. The savings from using wood chips from old pallets for heating have been substantial, with Fensterbach Godelmann saving 60,000 liters of heating oil per year as a result.
