GM Energy Unveils 10.6 kWh and 17.7 kWh Power-Storing Devices
In a move towards sustainable energy solutions, GM Energy has launched the PowerBank, a stationary storage product designed to store and utilize captured solar energy. This new offering is part of the GM Energy Home System bundle, which also includes a PowerShift charger and a GM Energy Vehicle-to-Home Enablement kit.
Customers interested in integrating solar power can refer to preferred installer Qmerit for assessments, checks, and personalized quotes. However, details about the pricing, installation process, and delivery timeline for the PowerBank, as well as its direct integration with solar power systems, are currently unavailable.
The PowerBank can provide power during outages and help offset higher electricity rates during peak demand. It offers modularity and flexibility in energy management tools, allowing consumers to create up to 35.4kWh of stationary storage by combining two 17.7kWh PowerBanks.
The PowerBank can also supplement EV charging and provide power to a home without an electric vehicle. Previous purchasers of the GM Energy V2H Bundle can add on a PowerBank to their existing setup.
For assistance from product specialists and an immersive digital experience, customers can visit GM Energy Live. The PowerBank and compatible solar power systems will be accessible via GM's brand mobile apps.
It's important to note that the PowerBank requires a fully charged and properly equipped PowerBank, and proper grid interconnection. Power supply may be interrupted, and it is not recommended for use with medical devices.
For exact details on the PowerBank's pricing, installation, delivery timeline, and its integration with solar power systems, consulting GM directly or official GM product documentation would be necessary. More information can be found at gmenergy.gm.com.
