Flying bicycle invented, inventor verifies authenticity

The Airbike, a futuristic, Star Wars-style flying motorbike developed by Volonaut, is set to make its debut in the real world. According to the company, production of the limited edition Airbike will commence next week, with reservations opening on August 1st, 2025.

The Airbike, as shown in the viral video that sparked a wave of excitement and skepticism on social media, is a one-person vehicle that soars over a test ground using a loud, jet-like propulsion system. Tomasz Patan, the inventor of the Airbike and founder of Volonaut, has confirmed that the video is indeed real and not generated by AI or computer-generated imagery.

The Airbike, according to the company's claims, can reach a speed of 124mph. However, a lighter version is in the works, which is expected to have a lower top speed of 63mph, making it suitable for riding in air outside densely populated areas without a pilot's license.

The initial release of the Airbike video generated a lot of buzz and mixed reactions, with some claiming it to be AI-generated or computer-generated imagery. To clarify, Tomasz Patan stated that the Airbike video was a real video of the Airbike prototype being piloted.

The Airbike has been making headlines in various media outlets, with the Daily Mail reporting on its production by Volonaut. With a launch price of $880,000, the Airbike is set to join the ranks of luxury, high-performance vehicles.

In a nod to its sci-fi inspiration, the Airbike bears a striking resemblance to the Speeder Bikes used by multiple characters, most famously by Luke and Leia, in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. As the Airbike takes to the skies, it seems that the line between science fiction and reality is becoming increasingly blurred.

The Airbike, reminiscent of the Speeder Bikes from Star Wars, will soon join the world's luxury, high-performance vehicles, as its production begins next week by Volonaut. The company claims that this futuristic motorbike can reach speeds of up to 124mph, but a lighter version is under development with a lower top speed of 63mph, suitable for riding in air without a pilot's license.

Despite initial skepticism, the Airbike video, showing a prototype in action, has been confirmed as authentic by its inventor, Tomasz Patan. This vehicle's debut has caused a stir in the automotive industry and finance, as the Airbike's launch price of $880,000 sets it among other expensive, high-performance vehicles.

As technological advancements continue to blur the line between science fiction and reality, this collaboration between innovation in transportation and finance might lead to even more extraordinary vehicles in the future—revolutionizing the way we move in the world.
