Flipkart Leap Ahead 2023: Accelerator Program Back for AI-Native Startups

Flipkart Ventures, the investment arm of Flipkart, has launched the fourth edition of its accelerator program, Flipkart Leap Ahead (FLA). The program aims to support early-stage AI-native startups in India, focusing on pre-Seed to Series A stage funding.

Selected startups will receive equity investments of up to $500,000 and a high-impact mentorship program. The curriculum provides founders with domain expertise across product, design, go-to-market, and fundraising strategies. Participants will gain access to Flipkart's broader ecosystem, including opportunities for commercial partnerships and integrations. The program is open to early-stage, India-based startups with an established Minimum Viable Product, full-time founding teams, and a core focus on AI-native technologies, drone-tech, or quick commerce enablers. This year's cohort will focus on startups innovating at the intersection of tech and emerging fields such as generative AI, agentic AI, dronetech, and quick commerce enablement. The program will conclude with a Demo Day showcasing innovations to a curated network of top-tier investors and venture capitalists.

Flipkart Ventures has supported 20+ startups across deep tech, fintech, health tech, generative AI, and sustainability since its inception. Ravi Iyer, Senior Vice President, Corporate, Flipkart, stated that India stands at the cusp of a generational opportunity to lead the global shift in AI.

Flipkart Leap Ahead aims to foster innovation and growth in the Indian startup ecosystem. With a focus on AI-native technologies and emerging fields, the program seeks to empower startups to make a significant impact on the digital economy. The Demo Day will provide an opportunity for selected startups to showcase their innovations to potential investors and partners.
