In a heartfelt message, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev underscored the vital role of the Kazakh people in bringing about victory.
"We hold the memories of our compatriots' military and labor achievements in high regard. We sanctify the names of heroes who demonstratd selflessness and bravery, and we embrace veterans with care and respect," he stated.

Fireworks were fired from two locations within the city – the vicinity of Atyrau at the city embankment and the botanical garden. An estimated 70,000 spectators were in attendance. Each location discharged approximately 4,000 fireworks, offering up five minutes of brilliant colors and ear-splitting booms.
Meanwhile, in Almaty, a mammoth drone light show mesmerized locals, serving as the finale of the city's Victory Day celebration honoring the 80th anniversary.

Above Abai Square, more than 500 drones brought the night sky to life, creating powerful symbols of courage and remembrance. The spectators watched open-mouthed as drones fashioned a five-pointed star, a soldier's helmet, and portraits of Kazakh World War II heroes - Manshuk Mametova, Aliya Moldagulova, Talgat Bigeldinov, and Bauyrzhan Momyshuly. This tribute paid homage to their indelible legacy.
